You are never too old, Judo is all about respect. Coaches will adapt techniques to your need and fellow Judoka (Players) will assist as best they can.
It sometimes happens in training that you may get injured but no less and no more than any other sport. Work with your partner and use the break fall techniques you are taught and you will reduce injuries.
We start taking children at the age of 5 for the main classes but do have a rough and tumble class for younger children. Please get in touch as we may be able to introduce your child earlier.
That all depends on you and your discipline to learn and compete. At the club we have three to four grading per year and in Judo we have 8 belts each of which is made up of Mon/Kyu grades which a syllabus has to be studied
To join all you have to do is pick the class you wish to attend and sign up to a 4 week trial. The system will let you know if there is space and add you to a notification list if not.
To cancel you membership is really easy all you have to do is email or visit membership cancellations under policies
We have a number of classes available through out Glasgow and the west of Scotland. You can train as many times as you wish the choice is entirely up to you.
Classes start from £32 per month for 1 class per week, we have special prices for more than 1 class per week to encourage members to attend more and a discount for families. Please head over to your membership fees section
