BRITISH UNDER 20 TRIALS SHEFFIELD SATURDAY 22ND January 2011

We had two of our cadet girls competing at the british trials in Sheffield at the English institute of sport , the two girls fought very well giving a good account of themselves competing at and under 20 event while only being fifteen. They have hopefully gained valuable experience from competing in the event  Kerry Thomson was in a very competitive under 63kg category ,she was beaten by the eventual two bronze medalists and won one of her other contests  against a very experienced player from parks judo club.

Kate moved up to the over 78 kg category, showing some very skilful judo and managing to take a bronze medal and securing a place on the british under 20 squad   This is the first time Projudo has had players competing at this event  but Kate and Kerry have paved the way for future players from the club to compete at this event and secure places on the GB team.

Well done Girls
